Bolting and Choss

On every route that goes up there is work to be done, even on the cleanest of rock that yields the most pristine of rock climbs. This past week we started on a new line (hard!!) with amazing holds: pockets, underclings, and crimps that are spaced perfectly apart to make it yet another Antelope Flats hard man route (did I say hard!!!). On this new line there was one menacing block that needed to be cleaned. It was hanging under the roof at the top…and with a bit of tugging and pulling and off came this massive flake…it made it to the river with no problem!

and Prince was loving the warm sun and cool breeze…he is having a “where’s waldo” moment in the next picture!
